A 35-man has threatened to set himself on fire in front of the Karlovac City Council headquarters in central Croatia on Tuesday…
The man staged a sit-in in front of the council office and proceeded to pour petrol around himself. He then demanded to see someone from the City Council to talk about his financial problems and sort them out. It is understood that the man is unemployed, has a wife and a 9-year-old son. Police confirmed that the man was then taken in to the council building to meet with officials before he set himself on fire. Currently in Croatia there are more than 350,000 people unemployed.
