Croatian striker Mario Mandžukić says he wants to achieve big things at his new club Atletico Madrid, after signing a 4-year contract on Thursday…
“I am so happy that I am here today! I watched a lot of Atletico Madrid’s matches and their style which coach Diego Simeone plays suits me perfectly,” Mandžukić said after putting pen to paper in Madrid after a passing a medical earlier on Thursday.
Mandžukić’s former club Bayern Munich will receive a reported 22 million euro out of the deal. He will be presented in front of fans at Atletico’s stadium next week. (pic: Twitter / Atletico Madrid)
