Maria Sharapova enjoying Croatian summer vacation

ZAGREB, 16 July 2021 – Former world No.1 tennis player Maria Sharapova is currently in Croatia enjoying a summer vacation.
The 34-year-old Russian has been sharing parts of her vacation with her 4.1 million fans on Instagram.
The five-time Grand Slam champion has been exploring the southern Dalmatian city of Dubrovnik and sharing some of it on social media with her fans.
Her first post was of the iconic salt-water stone pool at Hotel Excelsior in Dubrovnik.
“Out of Office,” Sharapova wrote.

Next she posted some photos after exploring the Old Town, including a shot inside St Ignatius’ Church and of some traditional jewellery.
“Within the walls of Old Town in Dubrovnik. The gold hoops from early 1900’s. Perhaps they’re available on 1stdibbs??”

Sharapova, who was world No.1 for a total of 21 weeks, has also been posting snaps on her stories from her vacation.
The Olympic silver medalist won 36 titles in her career, including two at the French Open and one each at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open.
