A limited edition bottle of beer dedicated to FC Bayern Munich’s Croatian striker Mario Manđžukić has become a hit at one restaurant in the capital Zagreb…
FC Bayern fan beer, brewed by Germany brewery Paulaner, which features bottles dedicated to the current side, is now available at Zagreb’s Bavarian restaurant Maximilan, and whilst Arjen Robben and Manuel Neuer bottles are popular, its Manđžukić’s beer that is flying out the door, reports daily 24sata.
Paulaner and FC Bayern have been partners now for a number of years, and to commemorate Bayern making the semi-final of the Champions League this year, the brewery decided to bring out special ‘players’ fan beer. For now the limited edition beer is only available at Maximilan, and at 25 kunas (just over 3 EUR) sales are going well.
Paulaner has been a premium partner of FC Bayern since 2003, in the double title-winning year of 2008, the fans celebrated on the Viktualienmarkt with 19,000 litres of free beer and toasted their club with Paulaner beer.
