Croatian doubles specialist Mate Pavic has won the 2018 Australian Open Men’s Doubles title on Saturday night in Melbourne.
Not many players have picked up two Grand Slam titles at the same tournament, but Croatian Mate Pavic has just done it.
On Sunday Pavic added the Mixed Doubles title to go with the Men’s Doubles title he won yesterday at the 2018 Australian Open in Melbourne.
The Split-born 24-year-old and his Canadian partner Gabriela Dabrowski beat Babos and Bopanna 2-6, 6-4, 11-9 in the final on Rod Laver Arena.

Pavic has now won three Grand Slam titles. In 2016 he won the US Open mixed doubles title with Laura Siegemund.
“I’d like to dedicate this win to @tennis_jarkag. She retired last year and she’s a fan favourite here in Australia and I know it holds a really special place in her heart. We miss her out here on tour so much.”
