After the milk, cheese, and honey vending machines, the Croatian region of Međimurje can now boast of its first wine vending machine.
The first wine vending machine was recently installed at the Cmrečnjak Winery in Sveti Urban, Međimurske Novine reports.
“All our winery products are housed in the vending machine, and there’s also the option to purchase glasses, sparkling water, and wine openers. If a guest desires, they can also consume the purchased product on our terrace,” said winemaker Rajko Cmrečnjak.
The vending machine is equipped with cooling, a lift for lowering bottles, and a sponge at the bottom to ensure each product reaches the customer intact.
The machine also operates within specific hours, every day from 8 am to 10 pm. After hours, it’s secured with a fence, and during operational hours, it’s always monitored by the hosts.
Payment is possible not only in cash but also with bank cards.
Besides bottles, customers can also buy wine boxes with various varieties.
Cmrečnjak says that they plan to soon install a similar machine at Mađerkin Breg, so people will be able to enjoy their wines with the most beautiful view in Međimurje.
