Meduza to headline 4th Sea Star festival in Umag

The first wave of names for the 4th edition of Sea Star festival, which will be held on 22-23 May in the Stella Maris lagoon in Umag, have been announced on Wednesday.

After three successful editions and over 120,000 visitors, organisers are preparing what will be one of the most spectacular festivals of the 2020 in Croatia.

The first major name announced today was Italian production trio and Grammy favourite Meduza. They are known for their 2019 breakthrough song “Piece of Your Heart”, which was a collaboration with British production trio Goodboys and reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart upon release and has had over 600 million downloads.

Also named on Wednesday were popular regional band Dubioza Kolektiv, who after their new single with the famous Manu Chao, played to over 15,000 people at concerts in Zagreb. Split hip-hop singer Vojko V, Zagreb trip KUKU$ and Osijek trap group Z++ have also been confirmed for the festival.

Today’s announcement was the first of many which will follow over the coming months in the lead up to Sea Star festival which was recently nominated for best European festival up to 40,000 visitors.

Tickets will go on sale on 12 December at 12:00 at the earlybird price of 199 kuna and will be available online via Ticketshop and Entrio.

The fourth edition of the Sea Star Festival will take place at Stella Maris Lagoon in Umag on May 22 and 23, and in addition to the main days when the festival will be in full force, the inaugural “Welcome Party” will take place on May 21 and May 24 is reserved for the “Closing Party”.
