Exploring the stunning landscapes of the Croatian island of Mljet just got even more accessible.
The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Mljet has recently undertaken a project to enhance and expand the island’s cycling network.
With the completion of this initiative, visitors can now enjoy a comprehensive array of cycling routes spanning the entire island.
In a workshop held in November 2023, Ms. Lidija Mišćin and Mr. Boris Mišćin, the project’s lecturers and designers, introduced new cycling routes complete with GPX records and technical data.
These routes have been meticulously crafted to showcase Mljet’s natural beauty while providing cyclists with an unforgettable experience.
At the beginning of this year, the culmination of efforts came to fruition as the routes were consolidated into newly designed cycling maps. These user-friendly maps are available in Croatian, English, and Italian, ensuring accessibility for visitors from around the globe.
Mljet’s unified cycling routes promise to invigorate the island’s tourism sector by catering to cycling enthusiasts year-round.
For those eager to embark on this island cycling escapade, the cycling maps can be obtained free of charge at the Tourist Board office in Sobri.
Experience the beauty of Mljet from a different perspective – pedal power awaits.
