Morrissey’s Zagreb Rider

British singer Morrissey arrived in the Croatian capital on Thursday night ahead of his concert at the Velesajam tonight. So what has the former The Smiths frontman requested be on hand whilst he is in Zagreb?…

Morrissey is in town to promote his new album “World Peace Is None of Your Business”, and he brings with him one strict condition for his hosts. With Morrissey’s stance on meat well-known, all food which is served during his stay must be vegetarian, including food sold at the concert venue tonight. Fans at the end of his Belgrade concert this week were shown a video of animals being slaughtered.

Morrissey and his team of 22 people, all vegetarians, are staying at one of Zagreb’s finest hotels – Esplanade. And as Vecernji list reports he has some special requests for his rider.
