Navy Ships Open Day Draws Big Crowd In Split

Members of the Croatian Navy in the Dalmatian city of Split have organised a ‘Ships Open Day’ to mark Armed Forces Day which is commemorated on Tuesday 28 May.

The large visitor turnout had the opportunity to see up close the famous Vukovar and King Zvonimir rocket launches, the Croatian Coast Guard Patrol ship, assault ships and many more.  Most of the exhibited ships were built-in Kraljevica shipyard on the Adriatic coast, except the Vukovar rocket launcher which came from Finland.
