Netflix film ‘The Union’ shot in Croatia out now

The action film The Union, which was filmed in Croatia, has just come out on Netflix.

As of Friday, the action-packed spy thriller The Union, starring Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry, is available on Netflix.

The film was shot in Istria, Croatia during the autumn of 2022, with production services provided by PAKT Media.

The extensive film crew spent a total of 14 days shooting on location in Istria. Out of the 701 crew members, 262 were Croatian film professionals.

Additionally, 19 trainees and 72 extras were hired. The production services in Croatia were handled by PAKT Media, with Diego Zanco serving as the operational producer, HAVC reported.

The filming was carried out with support from the Croatian Audiovisual Centre’s incentive programme – Filming in Croatia.

Filming in Istria took place in the autumn of 2022, and some of the locations can already be spotted in the film’s trailer.

Mark Wahlberg plays Mike, an ordinary construction worker who is recruited by his high school love, Roxanne (Halle Berry), into an American intelligence mission, pulling him into the world of super spies and secret agents.

The film has been available on Netflix since Friday, 16th August.
