Supetar, 1 July 2020 – Camping tourism has been experiencing a real boom in recent years, both globally and locally, and is an ideal form of vacation for all those who seek solitude in coexistence with nature.
Supetar, on the Dalmatian island of Brač, has a new addition in that sector as the small but sweet four-star boutique camp opens.
In the quiet bay of Babin Laz near Supetar, Boutique Camping Bunja has opened with 14 modern mobile homes and 32 spacious spots for campers and tents, of which the largest, luxurious ones range from 70 to 130 square meters.
The investment is worth two million euros. In addition to the beach bar, beach massage, heated freshwater pool, there is a children’s playground, bike and kayak rental. With Mediterranean greenery and traditional drywalls around the camp, guests can enjoy the scent of pine and lavender, clean island air and soothing sea views.
“Camping is the perfect answer to the growing need of people to return to nature, which is currently the best and safest way to relax, so we have no doubt that Boutique Camping Bunja will attract guests, lovers of our island, even in these challenging times. With a large selection of high quality private and hotel accommodation, which can be enjoyed by families with children, but also couples who will choose adults-only hotels, and attractive rural villas around the town, Supetar currently has two camps – Bunju and Waterman Beach Village, with a total of 124 camping places and 57 mobile homes, which can accommodate 462 guests,” points out Ivan Cvitanić, director of the Supetar Tourist Board.
With three attractive themed trails that combine culture and adventure, famous Plavac and Pošip wines, healthy island cuisine, excellent olive oil with a geographical origin, beautiful beaches and coves, Supetar is an attractive tourist centre and the perfect starting point for exploring the largest island in central Dalmatia.
