New Croatia Kit Presented in Zagreb

Mario Manđžukić and Mateo Kovačić swapped the football pitch for the runway when they modelled the new Croatia football kit in Zagreb on Sunday…
The design from Nike was inspired by Croatia’s first ever kit which it wore in its first ever match against the USA in Zagreb in October of 1990. The major differences with the new kit compared to the last one is that the new one is a lot ‘redder’, especially on the sleeves, and each shirt will have the message ‘Budi ponosan’ (be proud) on the inside of the shirt.
“We are a small but proud country. The words ‘Budi ponosan’ will remind us each time that all of Croatia is watching us and supporting us with all their hearts. It is extra motivation to work hard,” said Mandžukić at Sunday’s unveiling. See more pics of the new kit here.
