Musicians Ante Cash and Marko Lasić Nered have released a new fan anthem titled “Nevera” to unite Croatians ahead of the upcoming Euro 2024 in Germany.

The song emphasises national unity, from the north to the south, and support for the Croatian football team.

The music video for “Nevera” was filmed in three locations: Zagreb, Imotski, and Zadar, and features the vocal group “Diadora,” adding a distinct Dalmatian flavour.

The artists emphasise that fan songs are meant to be simple, sincere, and full of love, celebrating the unity displayed during sports events.

Ante Cash highlighted the song’s purpose to underscore Croatia’s unity, while Marko Lasić Nered spoke about the joy found in the unique camaraderie that emerges during sporting events.

Commenting on the music video, Ante Cash said, “We aimed for the chorus to reflect the idea of one united Croatia, without divisions. We can only express this through song… It’s a pleasure and a romance in the entire story.”

Marko Lasić Nered, who had a huge hit with Srce Vatreno, added, “Fan songs are simple, sincere, and full of love. I find the most inspiration for such songs because I enjoy the unique unity that arises during championships when support is needed on a larger scale. It showcases the beauty of Croatia and how united people can be.”
