New Heritage Hotel Opens in Šibenik

A charming new heritage hotel has opened in the heart of Šibenik on the Dalmatian coast.
Situated just a few steps the Cathedral of St. James, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list, is Hotel King Kresimir.
The quaint heritage hotel is located in the what was Divnić Palace, the beautiful multi-layered building which brings together Gothic elements, such as the entry portal, and Baroque solutions on the façade.
“This building that is now home of the Hotel is the crowning achievement of the progressive vision in architecture and interior design of its time. It remains as a vestige of a golden age of Šibenik`s financial, intellectual and cultural history and of the rich social life which once resounded trout Šibenik,” the hotel says.
Boasting a bar and restaurant, the hotel is close to several noted attractions. It is around 500m from Subicevac Fortress, 100m from The Church of St Barbara and a 2-minute walk from Šibenik Town Museum.
All rooms have with a seating area, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi and air-con as well as a private bathroom with a bath or shower. Some rooms include a terrace.
“For all of our guests we provide transfer if needed from and to the nearest airport (Split Pleso Airport), which is 40 km from the hotel.
