Apple have sold more than 10 million iPhone 6 and 6 Plus phones since they were released for sale on Friday, and that is even before the phones have become available in China…
Customers in Croatia have not had to wait too long to get their hands on one of the new phones, but they will have to pay through the nose for it if they want it before the major operators release it. The iPhone 6 with 16 GB, currently on sale at HG Spot in Croatia, will set back punters 8499 kuna (1,345 USD) in Croatia, with the same phone, without a contract, selling for 649 USD in America. The 64 GB model in Croatia is 1,000 kuna (170 USD) more expensive.
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launch has beaten last year’s launch of the new iPhone 5C and 5S, which reached 9 million in the first weekend.
“Sales for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded our expectations for the launch weekend, and we couldn’t be happier,” said Apple’s chief executive, Tim Cook.
