Giade De Gennaro Desulovich, a Peruvian with Croatian heritage, has just been crowned the new “Mrs. World Peru 2024”
The Señora Perú Mundo 2024 pageant, held at the Miraflores Club in Lima, saw eleven stunning contestants compete in various segments, including opening presentations, swimsuit displays, and gala costumes.
Giade, who has Croatian roots, stood out not only for her beauty but also for her commitment to a meaningful social project. Throughout the competition, she eloquently raised the profile of her home city of Piura, leaving a lasting impression on the jury with her articulate interview.
There is a sizeable Croatian community in South America, and Peru, and she now joins a list of beauty queens with proud Croatian roots.
Giade’s family hails from Mokošica near Dubrovnik.
“I have not had the pleasure of visiting Croatia yet, but it is firmly in my plans for 2024,” she tells us.

The newly crowned Mrs. World Peru also expressed her excitement on winning the crown and is ready to represent Peru at the upcoming “Mrs. World” pageant.
“I want to tell you that I am very happy to have been named Mrs. Peru World 2024 in the wonderful Mrs. Peru pageant. This achievement is the result of hard work, dedication, and the unconditional support of all of you. I thank from the bottom of my heart every person who believed in me, who offered their encouragement, support, and love during this exciting journey. Your words of encouragement were my strength and motivation to reach this dream,” she said, before adding.
