New stamps celebrate Croatia’s handball silver medallists

ZAGREB, 4 March 2025 – Croatian Post will issue a special commemorative stamp block on 6 March 2025 to honour Croatia’s men’s handball team, who recently claimed silver at the World Championship in Oslo.

The block, created in collaboration with the Croatian Handball Federation, features three stamps depicting the team after their historic achievement.

Each stamp in the block has a nominal value of €1.70, and a total of 20,000 blocks have been printed. Additionally, Croatian Post has issued a first-day cover (FDC) to mark the occasion.

The special stamp block will be available from 6 March at post offices across Croatia and online at www.epostshop.hr.

The Croatian Handball Federation has written the accompanying leaflet for this edition.
