Croatia head coach Niko Kovač has named his squad for the UEFA EURO 2016™ qualifiers next month against Bulgaria and Azerbaijan…
The full squad to face Bulgaria in Sofia on 10 October and Azerbaijan on 13 October in Osijek is:
Keepers: Danijel Subašić (Monaco), Lovre Kalinić (Hajduk), Ivan Vargić (Rijeka)
Defenders: Darijo Srna (Šahtar), Vedran Ćorluka (Lokomotiv), Dejan Lovren (Liverpool), Ivan Strinić (Dnipro), Šime Vrsaljko (Sassuolo), Domagoj Vida (Dynamo Kijev), Marko Lešković (Rijeka), Hrvoje Milić (Rostov), Ivan Tomečak (Rijeka)
Midfielders: Luka Modrić (Real Madrid), Ivan Rakitić (Barcelona), Mateo Kovačić (Inter), Marcelo Brozović (Dinamo), Danijel Pranjić (Panathinaikos), Domagoj Antolić (Dinamo), Alen Halilović (Barcelona B), Ivan Perišić (Wolfsburg)
Strikers: Mario Mandžukić (Atletico Madrid), Ivica Olić (Wolfsburg), Nikica Jelavić (Hull City), Andrej Kramarić (Rijeka), Duje Čop (Dinamo)
There were no real surprises from the squad that was named to face Malta earlier in the month, with Ivan Perišić returning to the squad from injury and Rijeka defenders Ivan Tomečak and Marko Lešković joining the squad with Dinamo’s Domagoj Antolić. There is still no room for QPR’s Niko Kranjčar. (pic Drago Sopta / HNS)
