Niko Kovac Next Croatia U-21 Boss

Former Croatia captain and assistant coach of Austrian 1st Division side Red Bull Salzburg Niko Kovac has reportedly agreed terms to become the next Croatia U-21 national team coach.
With current coach Ivo Susak’s contract up at the end of the year, Croatian media have reported that Croatian Football Federation President Davor Suker has struck a deal with his former team-mate to take over the reigns.
Kovac (41), who is contracted with Red Bull until June 2013, has completed his coaching badges with at the Croatian Football Federation Academy.
