Nominations are now open for the 2025 Cardinal Stepinac – Croatian of the Year award, which honours outstanding Croatians living abroad who have made a meaningful impact through their contributions, efforts, or charitable work.

Organisers are calling on the community to put forward individuals who tirelessly dedicate themselves to helping Croatia and strengthening Croatian communities worldwide.

“This award promotes key values—faith, family, and love for our Homeland,” the organisers said, adding, “Let’s come together to recognise those who have selflessly worked to support Croatia and its people, whether at home or abroad.”

Nominations can be sent via email to info@stepinacawards.com by 21 February 2025.

Past recipients include the late Miljenko Mike Grgich (USA), Marko Franovic (Australia), Vuk Buljan (Germany), and the late Bruno Zorica “Zulu”.

More details are available at www.stepinacawards.com.
