One Croatian Company on World’s 250 Largest Retailers List

Croatia’s largest owned private company Agrokor has been named among the world’s 250 largest retailers in Deloitte’s the 2014 Global Powers of Retailing report…

Agrokor, which owns Croatia’s largest supermarket chain Konzum, was 244th on the list of 250. Despite tough economic conditions, revenues for the world’s 250 largest retailers reached $4.3 trillion  in the last fiscal year (June 2012 through June 2013), with the average size of the top 250 retailers exceeded $17 billion, said the report.
