Croatian football club Hajduk Split have presented one the most important projects in the club’s history on Thursday…
Hajduk Split officials held a media presentation for its planned Football Camp, a project launched in cooperation with the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy in Split.
The planned location for the football camp is at the southern entrance into Split, where the Stobreč golf course is situated.
“This is a small step for us, but a big step for the club which will shape the future. I hope that we will complete the project in normal time-frame. We are doing everything in agreement with the City of Split, our first discussions are next week,” Hajduk Split President Marin Brbić said at the project launch.
Brbić said that a large portion of transfer fee money would go towards the project, which will see pitches, training facilities, a hotel, restaurants and cafes built within the next 4-5 years.
“This is the first step of a capital project which is the most important in the history of the club. We will get at least five pitches, all the functions of the club will be carried out there expect matches which will be played at Poljud stadium,” he said.
