NYON, 31 August 2020 – Croatian clubs NK Osijek and Hajduk Split discovered their UEFA Europa League qualifying opponents when the draw was made on Monday in Nyon.
Hajduk Split will travel away to North Macedonian side KF Renova, whilst NK Osijek will face Basel from Switzerland at home in the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round.
The matches will be played on 17 September.
“We have already started preparing for the European matches, and today we will watch Renova play. Renova does not have much European experience and that is our advantage. We are Hajduk and we have the quality to go further. We will go into it with maximum motivation to confirm our quality. There’s not a lot of philosophy here,” said Hajduk’s coach Hari Vukas.
