Paris Saint-Germain defender Kévin Rimane joins Croatian club Istra 1961

8 February 2019 – Croatian first division club Istra 1961 have signed 27-year-old Paris Saint-Germain player Kévin Rimane.
The French Guiananese defender has joined the Pula-based club on loan until the end of the season.
Rimane trained in the academy programs at Paris Saint-Germain before signing with Boulogne in 2011. He then returned to Paris Saint-Germain and was included for the first time in the first-team squad in 2016.
He started and played the full 90 minutes for Paris Saint-Germain as they defeated AS Monaco 4-0 in the 2018 Trophée des Champions on August 4, 2018 and has made three appearances for the Paris club.
He has represented French Guiana 19 times, scoring one goal.
On February 7, 2019 he signed a contract to the end of 2018–19 season with Croatian club in a move to gain regular match time. He is expected to make his debut for Istra 1961 against Osijek next weekend.
Istra 1961 are currently in second last place with 16 points.
