ZADAR, 24 November 2019 – A spectacular fireworks display and a concert from the Prljavo kazalište has opened Advent in Zadar on Saturday night.
After welcoming speeches from Zadar Tourist Board director Mario Paleka and Zadar Markets boss Tomislav Letinic, the first of what will be many concerts held during Advent in Zadar, saw the popular Croatian rock group entertain an estimated 12,000 people who had turned out last night for over two hours.

Before the concert, the kids in the crowd were warmed up by the ‘CROwd Control’ acrobat team from Split.

Ice skating, Advent food and souvenir houses, concerts, events and much more will take place on the main squares, as well as at Visnjik where the ice skating rink is located, during Advent in Zadar which will go on until 2 January 2020.
