The search for the best BBQ chefs in Croatia for 2015 is over…
Team Valpovački kotlić have taken home the ‘GOLDEN ĆEVAP’ after being crowned winners of the 4th Croatian BBQ Championships, which ended on Sunday at Bundek park in Zagreb. Školarci and Esekerski ćevap were in second and third place respectively.

The Croatian BBQ Championships, which is open to all citizens over the age of 18 who fancy themselves behind the BBQ, travelled around the country for six weeks finding winners in different regions. The winners then all got together for yesterday’s Grand Final in Zagreb.
Big crowd turns out for Sunday’s final
A full entertainment programme, including concerts and activities for the kids, accompanies the Championships when they are in town. The first Croatian BBQ Championships were held in 2010. Sponsors of the event include PIK Vrbovec, Škoda, Pevec, Labud, Kisk, Jamnica, Mlinar, Zvijezda, Vina Belje, Kotanyija, Konzum, Osječkog 1664 and Iskon.
