PHOTOS: Finjak in the Croatian capital creates magical Christmas fairy tale atmosphere again

For the past six years, Cafè Bar Finjak in the Croatian capital Zagreb has been creating a fairy tale atmosphere for patrons over the Christmas period.
This year they have done it again.
“The team at Finjak decided that you can count on them when it comes to good news and certainly creating a magical atmosphere for these holiday days,” staff said, before adding.
This year, on a small but cheerful terrace under thousands of lights, which will illuminate even the darkest winter sky, visitors can drink the best traditional mulled wine in town, made according to a secret and special recipe, and enjoy delicious bites of homemade sausages, a recipe prepared by chef Nenad Komes and our irresistible apple tart following the finest French recipe.”

You can also try mulled brandy, another special house recipe.
Finjak has prepared something special again for the kids with a delicious hot chocolate.

Academic sculptor Denis Svirać made sure that sitting on high tables would be a special experience with hand-painted barrels in the shape of nutcrackers.

“This year you will be accompanied by our new handmade friends, the Gingerbreads and there is no doubt that they are here to cheer you up this holiday season,” he says.
All food and drinks can be taken home, in “to go” packaging so, for those who don’t like the cold or want to enjoy Finjak’s specialties in the warmth of their home, they can do so this year.
