A Guinness Book of Records attempt to make the widest Advent Wreath has been completed inside the walls of a Croatian castle…
A group of volunteers from Sveta Nedelja just outside of the Croatian capital Zagreb hope to get their massive advent wreath entered into the Guinness Book of Records.
Volunteers from the 3D Association made an 18-metre wide advent wreath inside the walls of the Erdödy Castle in Kerestinec.
“We made the widest advent wreath in all of Croatia with the wish is that we enter the Guinness Book of Records. The wreath is 18 metres wide and is filled with pine and straw. It has three circles, with some Christmas motifs drawn by children. We’ve decorated the wreath with lamps and candles,” said project initiator Dario Žurovec, adding that the aim of the giant wreath was also to help revive the castle and making an Advent event a tradition in Sveta Nedelja.
