Hundreds of people gathered in downtown Zadar on Saturday night for the traditional lantern spectacle.
Locals and tourists gathered in large numbers to make wishes and spread love as they let thousands of lanterns fly into the Zadar night sky.

Each year more and more lanterns are set off, with last year’s record of 4,000 under threat last night. All proceeds from the sale of lanterns went to charity.
