PHOTOS: Miss Universe Croatia 2023 finalists revealed

The preparations for the Miss Universe Croatia pageant have officially begun, as 16 beautiful finalists compete for the title of the most beautiful. The pageant, now in its 27th year, will take place on May 3, 2023, at the Emerald Hall of the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb.
The event will be streamed live on Jutarnja.hr for viewers around the world to watch.
During their stay in Zagreb, the finalists will reside at the luxurious Esplanade Hotel and participate in various activities, including shooting promotional postcards, selecting their wardrobe, and choosing the perfect shoes.
The girls will wear Bariba evening and cocktail dresses, Pletix swimwear, and Baldinini shoes. The finalists will also visit Hrvatsko Zagorje, more specifically Vuglec Breg and Veliki Tabor castle, to enjoy Zagorje specialties and appreciate the natural beauty of the region.
The finalists will then travel to Pula, where they will continue their preparations at the newly opened Grand Brioni Pula hotel. They will have their first official photo shoot with photographer Sama Mervar, practice their choreography, and receive hair and makeup treatments from Beauty Studio MZ and Salon Marcela. Dorian Gašparović will closely monitor their every step during the preparations, which viewers will have the opportunity to see during the final evening.
The director of Miss Universe Croatia, Marija Kraljević, revealed that Dr. Vivian Jurković, founder of Dr. Vivian Estetics, will provide the girls with useful tips for skin care, while the director of Studio Marcela Jadranka Pezo will give lectures on health and hair care. The preparations will take place at the hotels Park Plaza Histria and Grand Brioni Pula, thanks to the Arena Hospitality group, who are the hosts this year.
On May 3, the winner of Miss Universe Croatia 2023 Arijana Podgajski will be crown the winner with a crowd from Zlatarna Dodić, and she will represent Croatia at the Miss Universe pageant, which will take place in El Salvador in mid-December.
The winner will receive many valuable prizes, including the biggest scholarship from the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZŠEM) for a four-year undergraduate study or an MBA study worth up to 20,000 Euros. Davor Garić will guide viewers through the program.

She graduated from the University of North Texas in 2018 with a degree in fashion design and is currently the president of her sustainable fashion brand, R’Bonney Nola. R’Bonney is the lead sewing instructor at Magpies & Peacocks, a Houston-based non-profit fashion house dedicated to “Fashion as a Force for Good” through sustainability and community impact.
As winners of the “Gucci Changemakers” award, they were awarded for their work and the transformation of waste textiles into fashion collections. Through the “MAKR” program, they teach women who have survived human trafficking and domestic violence to sew.
