Finalists announced in Miss Mama Croatia competition
The Dalmatian town of Šibenik will be host this June of a beauty pageant looking for the Most Beautiful Mum in Croatia…
After 86 registrations, 17 finalists have been announced and they will take part in the pageant titled Miss Mamma Italiana in Croatia on 3 June 2016 in Šibenik.
“We are glad that this beauty pageant sparked so much attention from mothers all over Croatia. In less than a month as many as 86 mothers registered. Therefore, the expert jury headed by the licensee in Italy, had a hard decision to select the finalists but the decision has been made. To all the other mums better luck next year,” Ojdana Koharević, a member of the pageant’s organising committee said.
The idea for the paegent in Šibenik arose at the final of a similar pageant in Italy last year where Šibenik’s deputy Mayor, Tourist Board Director and Koharević took part on the judging panel.
“It was a very nice experience for us because the Italians know how to put on a show. That was when we came up with the idea for a similar pageant in Croatia,” Koharević added.
The competition on 3 June will feature two categories – 25-45 years and 45-55 years. Here are the 17 finalists:
