PHOTOS: Summer Fesitval of Istrian Pršut opens

TINJAN, 20 July 2019 – The Summer Fesitval of Istrian Pršut has opened yesterday in the Istrian village of Tinjan.
The festival, which showcases the best Istrian pršut, olive oil, cheese and honey and is organised by the Tinjan Council and FIP, will continue over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
Local pršut producers are presenting their delicacies to visitors in Tinjan, including Pršuti Antolović, Pršutarna Dujmović, Pršutana Jelenić, Pršuti Milohanić, Pršuti Radetić, OPG Danijel Erman, OPG Franjul, Budak Pršuti, Compari Pršuti and Pršutarna Tomaso.
Along with world-class pršut, there are cheeses from OPG Rober Fabris, OPG Orbanić Silvano and OPG Cetina Franko, olive oil from Milohanić, OPG Marčelo Rioža and OPG Pinezić Anđelo and honey from OPG Brečević and Vinko Dantinjana. There are also cakes from Reginex d.o.o.
Visitors are also entertained by a music programme with live music from 8 pm until late every night.

Entry to the festival is free with the aim being to let visitors know the charms of central Istria and its life and discover all the beauty of Tinjan, which is known as the village of pršut. Tourists call also enjoy the destination in the heart of the Istrian peninsula, hidden in the beauty of nature.
