PHOTOS: Traditional Vukovar Ethno Fair opens

VUKOVAR, 24 September 2021 – As tradition already dictates, the last weekend in September is reserved for the Vukovar Ethno Fair.
This year is the14th edition of the popular fair and features a record number of exhibitors. As many as 76 exhibitors are taking part – from traditional and artistic crafts, handicrafts and antiques to food and beverage producers.
There is also other entertainment for visitors over the weekend, including concerts and tamburitza performances, free city tours, workshops for the children and more.
The Vukovar Ethno Fair is organised by the Tourist Board of the City of Vukovar and the City of Vukovar, and this year it was officially opened by the Mayor of Vukovar Ivan Penava, who emphasised his satisfaction with the fact that the fair is growing from year to year.
“This year we are recording a record number of exhibitors and I am glad to see exhibitors from neighbouring counties who in Vukovar represent the best of traditional products, but also food and beverages. I believe that at this year’s rich and diverse fair, everyone will find something for themselves,” said Penava.
Director of the Tourist Board of Vukovar Marina Sekulić pointed out the fact that the Vukovar Ethno Fair was awarded within the competition Sunflower Rural Tourism for the promotion of traditional products in the category “Rural-tourist events” for 2018, which speaks of the value and quality of this event and accompanying content and program.
