1st Zagreb Burger Festival closes on 25 September

The first ever festival dedicated to burgers, Zagreb Burger Festival, is currently taking place on Strossmayer Square in the Croatian capital until 25 September 2016…

Big crowds have turned out since the 11-day festival opened with some waiting up to 45 minutes to get a taste of their favourite burger. The festival has provided locals and visitors with a chance to enjoy burgers from 8 Croatian burger bars, drinks, live music, listen to panel discussions and much more.

There has been large crowds at the festival

Burgers made with black, red and green buns have been popular so far at the festival which closes on 25 September. There are also vegetarian and vegan burgers on offer.

Burger bars taking part in the festival include Submarine BBQ, Rougemarin,Boys Burger Bar, Kitchen & Grill PLAC, Brko & Brko, MY burger by PIK – made by Branko Ognjenović, Maredo Grill – Restaurant & Night Bar and ChevapRolls.
