Plants & Plays in Tuškanac Park: New Musical Oasis in the Heart of Zagreb

Plants and Plays are back

‬Find your spot among the plants in Tuškanac Park between June 29th and July 2nd.

Zagreb, June 21st 2017 – Following the event held last year at the Zagreb Botanical Garden, Plants and Plays (Biljke i Svirke) are back again this year to turn another exquisite urban location into a musical oasis.

Once again, for a few days, Plants and play will host pianos, violins, guitars, saxophones, harps, marimbas and vibraphones in an unusual outdoor concert hall, bringing music to our visitors and passersby.

Visitors to the second edition of this interactive music festival shall once again be able to enjoy the evenings surrounded by nature and in a relaxed atmosphere, listening to classical, jazz, modern or rock music, or boldly playing for the audience themselves during the afternoons.

“Tuškanac Park is an ideal location for Plants and Plays considering the intact beauty of the surrounding forest, combined with a stunning musical pavilion built in the late romantic 19th-century style, which will surely be inspirational for the musicians and our visitors.”- said the organizer Ivana Gladović

In addition, this year’s festival will introduce a new program entitled “Family breakfast at Tuškanac”, which will be accompanied by several children’s orchestras.
