Poles and Chinese to Invest €180M in Croatia

Significant investments, to the tune 180 million euros, are set to be injected into Croatia in 2014 by Polish and Chinese investors…
The last phase of talks are currently being carried out with eight foreign investors, who will invest a total of around 180 million euros, with the projects opening up more than 1,600 new jobs, reports daily Vecernji list.
It was reported that Polish investors are down to four locations in Croatia to decide from as the location for a new factory, worth over 15 million euros and creating 300 jobs in the process. There is also reported investment in the hotel industry via reconstruction and redevelopment of hotels which have gone into receivership. Because of contract negotiations, the names of the investors were not reported.
