Pop Up Summer Garden: A charming oasis by Zagreb’s Lake Bundek

Starting this Thursday, May 18th, another summer edition of Pop Up Summer Garden begins at Zagreb’s Lake Bundek.

SUMMER IS IN THE CITY

With its relaxing environment and greenery Bundek Lake is one of the most attractive locations in the city and with summer around the corner, Pop Up By The Lake is the place to relax, socialise with friends, enjoy good music, and watch movies under the stars by the lake.

SUPER CONTENT AT BUNDEK

Pop Up By The Lake brings a plethora of music, events, and various activities. For the youngest ones, there are interesting activities such as the Toy Festival, artistic face-painting, and various workshops.

Adults can also enjoy outdoor painting at the Pineli & Vino workshops organized by Art Bottega powered by Vinarija Trs, stand-up performances, and the Design Corner, where they will have the opportunity to purchase various products from local creatives.

The musical framework of the event will be complemented by performances by numerous local DJs and acoustic bands of all genres. A special treat for film lovers will be the screening of classic movies under the open sky.

SUPER GASTRO OFFER

Experienced bartenders will be preparing top-notch summer cocktails, and TAIKA BY SHERPA is in charge of the cuisine. They will prepare burgers with truffles, empanadas, vegetarian delights, and there will be bites for the youngest ones as well. 

At the opening, visitors can enjoy summer sounds with DJ Symart accompanied by Ivor on the saxophone and Marin Gregov on percussion.

POP UP FILM FESTIVAL

Starting from May 28th, POP UP BY THE LAKE will be showing popular films such as The Goonies, GoodFellas, The Banshees of Inisherin, The Secrets of Dumbledore, The Menu, and Amsterdam at Bundek Lake.

Entry is free, visitors need to just bring blankets and pillows.

TOY FESTIVAL

This year, for the first time as part of Pop Up By The Lake, on June 10th and 11th, visitors will have the opportunity to visit the Toy Festival, designed for families with preschool and school-age children. It brings together manufacturers of quality and educational toys and offers children’s educational workshops, fun and recreational activities, and performances by children’s choirs. 

Over the course of two days, children and adults can enjoy a realm of toys, various competitions, theatre and magic shows, as well as film screenings for children.
