An exhibition titled ‘Art in Dark Times’ of 101 press cartoons from all perspectives of the 1990’s conflicts drawn by renowned cartoonists from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Kosovo has opened in Zagreb last night…
The exhibition covers the pre-war period (1990-1991), the wars in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia (1991-1995) and the Serbia – Kosovo conflict (1996-2001). The cartoons on display were published in various newspapers and publications during that period mainly in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo. Art in Dark Times will remain open until 14 June at the Student Centre in Zagreb.
