Prljavo kazaliste & Novi fosili on Zagreb’s main square for NYE celebrations

ZAGREB, 23 December 2019 – One of the biggest open-air New Year’s Eve parties will take place on Ban Jelacic Square in the Croatian capital on 31 December.
On Monday, it was announced that bands Prljavo kazaliste and Novi fosili will entertain the crowd on Zagreb’s main square as the city welcomes in 2020.
“I think it will be the bet way to warm up Zagreb locals and tourists before midnight. We hope you will come out with your family and kids,” Novi fosili’s Sanja Dolezal said at a press conference this morning.
There will be a number of open-air celebrations going on around the country on New Year’s Eve.
SPLIT
In Split on the Riva, Tomislav Bralic and Klapa Intrada will perform before Jelena Rogza keeps the crowd partying into the night.
DUBROVNIK
New Year’s Eve celebrations are part of the Dubrovnik Winter Festival. Mia Dimsic will first perform before a concert from the main attraction, Parni Valjak.
SIBENIK
British hip hop/electronic dance group Stereo MC’s will perform on the main stage in front of St. James Church.
ZADAR
Zaratino and TBF will play in Zadar on the Advent stage on Petar Zoranic Square, whilst Dalmatino will perform on People’s Square.
RIJEKA
Nina Badric will be performing on Korzo in Rijeka as well as popular band Dubioza Kolektiv.
Elsewhere around the country, Danijela Martinovic will play in Makarska, Maja Suput will be in Umag and Severina will perform in the Istrian town of Porec.
Tony Cetinski will perform on the island of Rab, Gibonni will be in Rovinj and Petar Graso will play in Mali Losinj. 1990s dance stars Ivana Banfic, Minea and Ella will be performing in Karlovac.
