Prljavo Kazalište to play free concert in Zadar.

Fresh from their 40th anniversary world tour of Australia, America, Canada and Zagreb, Prljavo Kazalište is set to play a free concert in Zadar next weekend.

Prljavo Kazalište will be playing at Forum in Zadar on 5 August 2018 as part of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day celebrations.

Organised by Grad Zadar and the Zadar Tourist Board, the concert will start at 10 pm with Zadar band Rockatansky Band opening at 9 pm. Entry to the concert is free.

Since playing their first concert in 1978 in Zagreb, Prljavo Kazalište has had countless hits and sold-out concerts around the world. They are set to release their 15th studio album shortly.

“Those numbers are unbelievable and frightening. 40 years is a long time, but the time has passed very fast. Time has passed like a blink of the eye, but we are proud, we have played music which we carried in ourselves and shared it with our fans,” band member Mladen Bodalec said looking back on the past 40 years the band has been playing.

The concert will be the band’s first ever at Zadar’s Forum and the public can look forward to them playing such hits as “Iza mojih prozora”, “S vremena na vrijeme”, “Ako tražiš nekoga”, “Lupi petama”, “Mojoj majci”, “Marina”, “Sve je lako kad si mlad” and “Crno bijeli svijet”.
