Pula: Train Hits Combi, Driver dead

A 50-year-old man has been killed instantly after being hit by a train in the northern Adriatic town of Pula on Friday morning.
The train, which was travelling from Buzet to Pula and carrying around 30 school children, collided with the combi van, pushing it 200-metres from the place of impact. The driver of the combi died at the scene. It was reported that the combi was on the train tracks as that particular spot did not have  a barrier gate.
