The official yacht of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will spend the winter docked in a marina in Croatia…
After being sent to the Brodotrogir shipyard in Trogir just outside of Split on the Dalmatian coast for maintenance earlier this year, the 53.8 metre Super yacht “Chayka” docked in this week at the Trogir marina, where it will spend the winter. According to daily Slobodna Dalmacija, the mega yacht’s marina fees of 6,000 euros a month, were paid in advance.
Built in 2009 and costing 40 million USD, Chayka can accommodate 12 guests and boasts an immense and plush salon that occupies 100 square metres of the main deck. The main deck includes a spacious lounge area and a large spa pool with its own glass waterfall wall. Besides having a six-person Jacuzzi, sunpads, sheltered lounge and dayhead with shower, the deck also boasts a barbeque, bar, and dining area for up to 14 guests.
