Qatar Airways cancels flights to Zagreb until mid-August, flydubai not returning to Dubrovnik in 2020

ZAGREB, 23 July 2020 – Qatar Airways has canceled all flights on its Zagreb – Doha route until the middle of August because of low demand, Croatian Aviation reports.

Qatar Airways resumed flights to the Croatian capital on July 1st connecting Doha and Zagreb again with three weekly flights with their A320 aircraft.

However, because of low demand, the airline cancelled a number of departures on this route. Now all flights have been cancelled until the middle of August.

“Service resumption is now scheduled from Wednesday, August 12th on this route, when the A320 aircraft will fly again between the two cities,” Croatian Aviation said. 

Before the outbreak of the pandemic, Qatar Airways flew twice daily on this route, with morning and afternoon departure from Zagreb. 

flydubai rules out Dubrovnik return

flydubai will not fly to Dubrovnik Airport this year. The airline scheduled flights and announced service resumption on its Dubai – Dubrovnik service for this July with 2 weekly flights, but now are flights have been cancelled for this summer season and the airline will not come back to Dubrovnik until summer 2021.
