Queen Of The Northern Adriatic For Queen Of Croatia

The search is on to find the Queen of the Northern Adriatic who will go onto to compete for the crown of Queen of Croatia. Next month on the 4th of May girls from the regions of Istria, Rijeka, Gorski Kotar and the northern Adriatic island in Croatia will gather in Opatija for the Queen of the Northern Adriatic for the Queen of Croatia beauty pageant.

The Queen of the Croatia pageant is one of the oldest and most prestigious pageants in Croatia. It was first held in 1994 with every region of Croatia represented with 3 finalists. The winner is then crowned Queen of Croatia and she gets to represent Croatia at the Queen of the World contest which has been held since 1988. Danijela Mihalic is the only Croatian ever to win the Queen of the World title when she won back in 1990.

This year’s Queen of the Northern Adriatic will be held at the Divan Lounge Bar at Vila Dinka in Volosko, Optaija on 4 May.
