RateBeer announces best beer & brewer in Croatia

1 February 2019 – LAB Split Craft Brewery has won top honors in Ratebeer.com’s annual compilation of the best beers in Croatia. 

LAB Split’s BARBA Imperial IPA was voted the number one beer in Croatia by the world’s leading beer rating website.

BARBA Imperial IPA is one of the brewery’s headlining beers and main seller.

“Surely the best Split beer in the world. 1st-class malts combined with YCH CryoHops and pellets. 28g of hops per litre. Columbus as first wort hop, Centennial as Whirlpool hop. Lupulin Simcoe, Lupulin Citra and Cascade in dryhop,” is how the beer is described on RateBeer.

The American-based site said that the winners were judged according to reviews taken last year and weighted by performance within and outside of style, balanced by indicators of depth.

Zagreb-based craft brewers Zmajska Pivovara was named top brewer in Croatia, whilst PriMarius Craft Brewery won the award for best new brewer.
