Receipt Becomes Internet Hit In Croatia

A 23 kuna (3 euros) receipt with an uncanny coincidence featuring general Ante Gotovina from a cafe in Croatia has become an internet hit. With  Gotovina currently the man of the moment in Croatia, the receipt has gone viral in Croatia and around the world.

On the receipt (pictured) it shows the name of the waiter who served the customer in the cafe where the receipt came from – Ante, and below his name it shows the method of payment the customer made, in this case it was cash, with the word in Croatian for cash just happening  to be “Gotovina”.

No doubt there are plenty of these type of receipts floating around, with Ante being a particularly common name in Croatia and cash the most popular form of payment.
