More than 19,000 people kicked off the fifth edition of Sea Star festival in the Croatian town of Umag last night.
The event, which marks the beginning of the new tourist and festival season, surpassed last year’s attendance numbers on its opening night. It was fueled by inspired performances from international and regional superstars, led by the spectacular Robin Schulz, followed by Mahmut Orhan, Senida, Hiljson Mandela, Dario Kolosov, Etapp Kyle, Marko Nastić, and Dejan Milićević.
The festival also featured exciting acts such as Nika Turković, beloved Slovenian rockers Joker Out, and techno heroes Dj Jock and Shipe, who brought the program at Nautilus Arena to a thrilling close. With superior production quality, one of the finest ever experienced on the Adriatic coast, the festival spanned across all ten stages and zones, and tonight it will reach its full power as the most sought-after world tour finally arrives in Croatia.
The legendary electro-punk band, The Prodigy, will unleash their full force on the Tesla Main Stage at Stella Maris lagoon, potentially breaking records.
The Prodigy has already arrived in Umag, as confirmed by the band’s leader, Liam Howlett, who posed in front of one of Umag’s graffiti in an Instagram post. The band that headlined the first Sea Star festival is returning to the birthplace of the festival after six years, and their performance will begin at 00:30.
The doors of Stella Maris Resort Plava Laguna will reopen at 19:00 tonight, with the program starting at 20:00. The Tesla Main Stage will kick off with RNB Confusion Sound System featuring DJ Turk and Zembo Latif, followed by Dzipsii at 21:00, Podočnjaci at 22:00, and Krankšvester at 23:00. The Prodigy will ignite the atmosphere with their performance at 00:30, and after them, techno superstar Indira Paganotto will take over the main stage at 02:00, followed by Lanna at 05:00.
Nearby, the Nautilus Arena will be entirely dedicated to regional trap music from 20:00 to 06:00, featuring performances by Grše, Fox & Surreal, 30Zona, Ružno pače, Buntai, Miach, Micka Lifa, Masayah, and TTM. Electric Waves will showcase sets by Marcel, Ian F, Bronski, Kali, Innac, and Korak, while Silent Octopus will be handled by DJs Dirty, Djura, XLX, and Mr Fanatica.
The Saturday program will continue with the Closing Party, starting at 06:00 in the morning and lasting until noon, featuring performances by Electric Waves lineup, including Bronski, Marin Biočić, Ian F, and Marcel.
For today, single-day tickets are available for 39 euros, as well as VIP Gold and Onstage Experience VIP passes. All ticket information is available on the festival’s official website and at all Entrio sales points.
