Record number of medals for Croatia at World Olive Oil Competition

17 May 2020 – Croatian producers have won a record number of medals at this year’s NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC) in New York.
Croatian producers won 39 gold medals and 12 silver medals at the prestigious olive oil competition. This was the best result for Croatian producers since the competition began.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, which was judged remotely by a 17-member panel of experts due to the pandemic, unveiled the 2020 winners throughout last week.
There were a total of 881 entries registered in this eighth edition of the world’s largest and most prestigious olive oil contest held each spring.
