Record Tourist October For Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik’s record-breaking tourist season keeps going on and on. There were 225,506 overnight stays in the popular southern Dalmatian city in October, 33 percent more than there was in October 2011, Dubrovnik Tourist Board said on Friday.
Dubrovnik has 65,000 visitors during the month of October, with most arriving from the UK, followed by Germany, Turkey and Croatia.
There was growth for all accommodation sectors, with a massive 73 percent increase in private accommodation, while hotels saw 32 percent growth this year.
Dubrovnik has had a bumper season this year, in the first 9 months of 2012 there were 670,732 registered tourists, 11 percent more than the same period in 2011.
